    About Elles Bailey

2019 was a hell of a year for the super-smoky-voiced, hard-working, far-touring chanteuse Elles Bailey. On 8th March, she dropped her eagerly-anticipated second album ‘Road I Call Home’ to rave reviews, with the album charting in the Official UK Country Charts & Americana charts, gaining over 1.9 million streams since its release and reaching No.1 on the Amazon Blues Bestseller chart

Like its chart-topping predecessor, ‘Road I Call Home’ features co-writing contributions from high-calibre collaborators, including British hit-making legend and Ivor Novello Award winner Roger Cook, storied Memphis and Nashville giant Bobby Wood, as well as Dan Auerbach (of Akron, Ohio powerhouses The Black Keys) on the infectious ‘Little Piece of Heaven’ which has been awarded ‘Song of the Year’ at the 2020 UK Americana Awards.

As a self-confessed ‘rolling stone’ - Elles genuinely does call ‘the road’ home. She’s continued her wide-ranging headline touring throughout the UK and Europe and was also special guest support for Grammy Award winner Mike Farris, Martin Harley, The Kris Barras Band and King King.

2018/19 has also seen Elles Bailey move up the festival listings becoming a featured artist at key festivals including Black Deer, Swing Wesplaar, Ramblin’ Man Fair, & The GB R&B Festival. She also headed stateside for the International House Of Songs Summit in Arkansas and played Nashville’s Americana Fest.

Garth Brooks to bring country legends and stadium energy to Hyde Park

The legend of country music, Garth Brooks, is set to headline in the heart of London next summer. On Saturday 27 June 2026, the acclaimed singer-songwriter will step onto the Great Oak Stage in Hyde Park, marking his only UK date confirmed for that season so far.

As part of the American Express presented series, this show will crown the beginning of a star-studded 2026 line up at BST Hyde Park. Known for revolutionising country music and introducing it to mainstream audiences, Garth Brooks is celebrated as one of the best-selling artists of all time, with over 150 million records sold globally.

From honky-tonk roots to stadium-sized singalongs, Brooks’ mix of energetic performances and heartfelt ballads has earned him global acclaim. Classics like “Friends in Low Places,” “The Dance” and “If Tomorrow Never Comes” hold spots in the hearts of fans across generations. But it is the power of his live shows – often described as part rock concert, part country hoedown – that truly sets him apart.

He last graced a London stage nearly two decades ago, and many still talk about the storm he brought to the then-Hammersmith Apollo. I was lucky enough to catch him live in Dublin a few years back—the man entered the stage as if launching a rocket at a rodeo. Unapologetically loud, surprisingly funny, and always committed to his audience.

Few artists can blend the intimacy of storytelling with the thunder of arena-sized sound like Brooks does. His fusion of traditional country, rock and pop has made him a bridge between fans of different musical backgrounds.

If you are new to Garth’s catalogue, start with his ground breaking album No Fences or explore stories behind his sold-out stadium tours and record-setting runs on Billboard.

In a city rarely treated to full-scale country concerts of this size, Garth Brooks playing London’s Hyde Park is not just a gig—it is a musical milestone. And with such rare chances to catch him live in the UK, anticipation is already building.
